The Brothellian Movement
Tim is a prominent figure in the Brothellian movement for the progression of the arts - an international collection of 'Decadent Romantic' artists who use the tactics of historical brothel owners to promote and sell creative talent.
They are best known for their culture of alluring and interactive events (Poetry Brothels, Carnivals of Artisans, The Study of the Decadent Romantics, etc.), in which they foster intimate, shared experiences between artists and audiences alike. Their ultimate aim is to 'ignite the fires of a new cultural renaissance.'
Everyone's welcome to join, as long as they display a commitment to the tenets of craftsmanship, talent and imagination. For more information, search for the Brothellian Manifesto (available to purchase online, or to stream for free on YouTube).
Tim's proudest achievement was when he co-founded and ran a local, non-profit organisation which fed, clothed and gave free haircuts to 60+ homeless and/or struggling people every week for two years (2016 - 2018). This took place on the city streets and in a heated, indoor location (The City Retreat).
Tim represented the Leicester Green Party in the candidacy for Mayor of Leicester. They were unsuccessful in their attempt, but he received 8,637 of the votes cast (65% better than the previous Green candidate received in 2011), and they retained their deposit for the very first time.
